Using the pickaxe I was able to get large chunks of asphalt after I cut with my Hitachi dry cut masonry saw CM 4SB2.
I broke my 2.5 pound pickaxe, sawed my saws cord and sawed my extention cord.
So I had to purchase a 5 pound pickaxe, which I bent somehow, but I completed my mission today.
I cut out about a 4 foot by 16 foot square with my grinder and blade (DeWalt XP Diamond blade (DW4701)) today. The asphalt is about 1 1/2 inches thick.
I did not complete very much today but my grinder was over heating and I think maybe my pickaxe would really help more then a hammer or my hammer drill.
I got to dig out a pit today which is always fun.
I’m not sure what Willie Nelson has to do with Ben & Jerry’s Country Peach Cobbler Ice Cream but it is pretty good. Luckily this ice cream is on my diet. If you like peach cobble you should try it.
My concrete bay at the carwash is a little short (30 feet) and I need to make some concrete footers for the entry gate. I need to cut the asphalt then dig it up to pour the concrete footers (3 feet from the concrete bay). I am not really sure how to do this but I purchased a DeWalt XP Diamond blade (DW4701) for my grinder. My plan is to cut the asphalt with the grinder then pick axe and shovel the asphalt out?
I started removing all the unnecessary stuff in the bay today.
I think that this is the worse vacuum nozzle I have had so far.
I need $139.99 so I can purchase a Gears of War Lancer from Amazan.com. Who doesn’t want a motorized chainsaw sounding toy gun? I know times are tough but I’m not beyond begging.

The voting location was across the road and the parking was ridiculous. My favorite was the parking in my car wash bays.
