Weed eating time

IMG_5151.JPGIMG_5152.JPGIMG_5164.JPG

I needed to cut down some trees on the side of my wash.  I tried to start my gas trimmer and it said “No”.  I am sick of gas crap (actually it is really a nice trimmer, it just does not work every year).  So, I purchased this Black & Decker electric trimmer / edger.  It is a Grass Hog XP, which sounds good.  (Check out the cool B&D video, just kidding it is not cool.) It is the ugliest trimmer out of all of them.  Why do you need fake chrome on a weed eater?  I lost some metal piece that stuck out the front about halfway through the process.  I started to look for it then came to my senses.  If it falls off that easily it is just a matter of time before I lose it again.  It is a very powerful weed eater and I like it.    It looks like it is a year old after the first use and yes, the chrome scratches and comes off.

Latexite Trowel Patch – Test run

IMG_5083.JPGIMG_5084.JPGIMG_5087.JPGIMG_5088.JPG

I wanted to try something new.  I think the QPR Permanent pavement repair stuff needed to be tapped allot more then I did.  Then the Black Jack Crack-Stop Elastic crack filler would cost too much to use that product.  So, I am trying Latexite Trowel Patch which was reasonably priced.  It is brown when you open it.

I did not finish with one bucket but I think the results will be good.

Before I left it turned black in color.

My lucky day

IMG_5066.JPGIMG_5067.JPGIMG_5069.JPG

Someone left me some lawn chairs.  How could the day get any better sleeping next to the dumpster?

It actually can get better if you can believe it.  Five words:  “Def Leppard” and “Instant Party Disc”.

High pressure hose problem

IMG_4972.jpgIMG_4990.jpgIMG_4992.jpgIMG_4995.jpgIMG_4997.jpg

I am surprised that this hose lasted so long, it was like this when I purchased it.  The screw-in piece on the end of the boom cracked so it just hangs off the side.  The third picture is how the hose goes through the boom.  I did not have a hose that was 80″ so the hose it very long until I purchase a smaller hose.

Meter door break-in – Last Update

IMG_4949.jpgIMG_4952.jpgIMG_4957.jpg

I converted from the Coleman timer to the D/H timers that Greg sold me.  The diagram for the D/S was terrible.  Of course it was not “plug and wash”.

IMG_4964.jpgIMG_4967.jpgIMG_4969.jpg

I had to drill more holes to mount the timer. I drilled three holes.

I fixed the latch for the lock and then I was done.
