Wax problem

IMG_8964.JPGIMG_8965.JPG

Wax problem from the other day.  I thought I got most of it down the drain but I obviously did not.  I ran water today and tried to get all of the blue wax off the floor.  It took forever but there is no blue on the equipment room floor now.

Wax problem

When you get to your car wash and you see chemical seeping out of the building it is always bad.

I swapped to this foot valve yesterday because I am going to switch tanks and apparently it does not work.  The only thing I can think of is the foot valve started a suction and kept draining the tank.  This over flowed the chemical tank and cycled on then suction all the water out again and again.  Making a huge mess.  I cut a hole in the outlet of the hydrominder hose.  Which should prevent this from happening again.

X10 problem

IMG_8924.JPG

I was having a problem with my X10 coin acceptor today.  It would work fine when I put money in.  But when customers put money in it would not work.  I reprogrammed the X10 and it seems to work fine now.  This is the same X10 I replaced the other day.

X10 died

I had one of my X10 coin acceptors die today.  At least I think it died.  There was no light at all and I tried to program it twice.  It would reject the coins when trying to program.  Also, cut the power to it and nothing seemed to help.

I had an extra X10 which was not programed so Greg told me how to program the X10.  It is pretty easy after you know how to do it.  1) Open the X10,  2) Put the dial on 4 (I am not sure why except Greg told me to.),  3) Push the button once (This is the number of pulses the coin will be.),  4) Switch the dial back to zero,  5) Run six coins through (Greg said to use separate coins not the same one.  Also, the coins should go through the X10 like it is accepting the coins.),  6) The X10 will blink or something,  7) Done

Hydrominder problem – Again

IMG_8755.JPG

This is always bad to see chemical and water running out of the equipment room.  Greg called for his brother, who drove by my wash to notice my problem.  It seems to always happen just when I get home.

One good thing was that it cleaned up its own mess by running water to remove the chemical.

The very bad news was I just put a new tire cleaner chemical bucket on-line.  It drank the whole thing.  Which is bad.

Sandpiper pump problem

IMG_8722.JPGIMG_8723.JPG

I was having a problem with my sandpiper pump again. This time the hydrominder got stuck and the chemical tank was empty. The pump was getting to much air in the intake line and was trying to prime. I had to take the outlet hose off and everything worked fine again. I have a video of what the pump was doing.

Meter door break-in – Again

IMG_8641.JPGIMG_8677.JPGIMG_8678.JPG

Someone broke into my meter box again.  This time they stole my latch thing that locks it into place, bent and striped the threads on the lock.  Luckily, I had a spare lock.

He tried to break in to all the vaults and looked at the vacuums.  It was at 9:27 pm I think unless the time is wrong on the dvr I forgot to check.

Here is a picture of his suv.

The meter box worked fine all day except for the guy on the left.  Then the lady on the right decided to steal the quarter for some reason.
