A new Twice the ICE box is getting installed on Allison Bonnett which is about 2-3 miles from their other location across from my car wash. Maybe the Twice the ICE people are giving them away? There must be a lot of ice being sold in the Bessemer area?
It is a Southwest Airlines wanna get away car wash commercial. Not really a positive car wash industry commercial but it is funny (Maybe the ica should investigate or release a press release?). 4 things are drastically wrong though.
1) Rowe changers are always out of order. 2) How long would a $50 high pressure nozzles last before stolen? 3) A restroom at the carwash? 4) I forgot the last one……

I believe the vet visits get more expensive the older the dog gets. She is 12 years old and according to the new dog age chart she is 77.
It looked like someone ran over the foam brush and broke the brush.
It took a little while (November 23rd, 2005 http://cwguy.com/?p=80) but Jim Coleman himself fixed my shampoo tank that was leaking (Disclaimer: I am not really sure if Jim actually fixed my vacuum). To my understanding, it was actually the distributors fault that it took over 2 years to fix, but the last 2-3 months of it was my fault. But, I got my vacuum fixed under warranty. YEA!
I believe the customer has to pay for the shipping of the vacuum but they were supposed to ship it on a Coleman truck when they did their drop off (which is only every couple months, but it would be free). I am very happy I got the vacuum back after I thought maybe they lost it.
I am trying to piece together an air compressor that can actually work. But I am having a weird problem. My knowledge of compressors it not that great and maybe someone could help? The pump sounds like it is spinning freely and has no resistance. Is the pump trash?

I guess it had to happen? My Mars bill acceptor wanted to go on a road trip, so it ate its belts. It might be jealous of my Rowe International BA-50 bill acceptors which get to go on a trip to the repair man every year.
So I have owned car washes for around 4 years and had one real Mars bill acceptor problem (I own 2). But my Rowe BA-50 (own 5) breaks an average of once a year and probably have cost me $800 over the last 4 years? You know I hate my Rowe changers even more now. I also need to fix 2 more of my BA-50 bill acceptors now.
Summary: I love MEI Mars bill acceptors and I HATE Rowe BA-50 bill acceptors.
New high pressure problems in the same bay from yesterday.
This car wash was located next to the wharf in Orange Beach. Looks like a really nice car wash and I like the little kid tricycle tied up in the tree with christmas lights. Nice touch.
I like the changer sign in the first picture. The second picture shows the Coke machine on the left and the equipment room roof. I guess they remodeled the car wash and they “raised the roof”.

I smeared some trowel patch in some cracks today. My plan is to help reduce weeds and dirt. I guess I will see if it helps.
