William and I installed the eyes, rails and treadle.
We also installed the hoses and power through the boom. According to our local rep I have the old style boom and it is not very desirable. I think a new one cost around $3,000?
We also installed the entry gate.

The electricians mounted the rail heater and installed the 3 phase to it. He also connected power to the Water Wizard control unit.
Grainger catalog
I got my Grainger catalog (#400) today which is always exciting. It is a little smaller then last year by 16 pages. It also does not have the dividers this year (second picture).
Water Wizard Preparation – Building Permit
I would recommend getting a building permit before building something or installing an automatic. I needed the building permit before the inspector would release the power. So I got a permit then no problems so far.
Taco Bell?
I guess I will not be eating at Taco Bell today, they said they are remodeling.
Water Wizard Preparation – Sticker Time!
Greg gave me the idea of replacing the Water Wizard sticker set on the unit, which they do look pretty bad. Jim Coleman wants $500 for the American Flag version of the wizard sticker. I am going to see how much a local vinyl guy will cost first though.
Water Wizard Preparation – Electrical work
The Electrician cut my power off today and installed a new meter box and 2 new panels. We also mounted the Water Wizard – Electrical control center on the wall. If all goes according to plan I should have power late tomorrow after the inspection.

Ditch digging fun! I dug the 12 foot section of the trench that was the black top section. But I am not sure what I am going to do with the concrete side. (The wires are going to run up the brick wall.)

Today, I started my entry unit trench. I cut the blacktop out and dug up 4 feet of the 12 feet that needs to be dug up. (The pay station will be installed 15 feet from the rails? Or at least that is where I am planning to install mine for now.)
