I saw an immersivemedia vw bug, this company was contracted from Goggle to map the Earth so Google can take over the World (at least I think that is the correct company). I can not believe there was one in Birmingham, Alabama on 65. I guess no state is safe?
Yellow jacket problem – Update
I hate Canon Service Department and Waymon Scott!
Disclaimer: I understand that the camera looks damaged but I had no idea that the Canon Camera Nazis made you take care of your camera. Why can I not leave it in my pocket? All it has is cosmetic problems (it has had all the scratches and dents for about 3-4 months). Well the big problem is the camera will only work for about 30 seconds with freshly charged batteries. This was Canon’s response:
LARGE DENT ON FRONT COVER LOGO. SEVERAL DENTS ON LENS.UNIT WILL NOT POWER ON. NO DISPLAY ON LCD. SCUFFS/SCRATCHES.CHECK ALL FUNCTIONS, REPAIR TO GOOD WORKING ORDER. FLAT RATE REPAIR MODEL, PARTS AND LABOR INCLUDED IN PRICE
My problem: They want to fix problems that do not affect the functionality of the camera and that I do not want fixed and charge me. If I do not care that I can not see through the display, why should they care?
The first thing my friend Waymon Scott (a supervisor?) did was give me 20% off. But I just wondered why they have to fix something not broken? He threatened to hang up on me and eventually he did. What an ass. (Canon PowerShot SD630)
Some little problems
Have you ever wanted to try powdered chemicals? – Part 2
Today, I brought my DIGI DMC-688 powder / quarter scale to weigh the powder to get the exact amount of powder for a 5 gallon bucket.
First, I zeroed out the plastic bag. Then I weighed about 5 pounds which was 12 1/4 cups. So to make 5 gallons of JBS Industries Hydro White Powered Tire & Engine Cleaner just use 12 1/4 cups or my previous guess of 12 cups.
How to kill yellow jackets? Part 7
Okay, I think I am going to try Greg’s method of killing yellow jackets.
Directions to combine all the ingredients using a microwave. 1) Find a crappy microwave on one of your vacuum islands. 2) Cut a microwave ready Poweraid container. 3) Add sugar. 4) Add boric acid. 5) Add some Mountain Dew. 6) Then stir.
It took around 4 minutes to combine and make the liquid. This Mountain Dew mix seems to work well. A yellow jacket flew over and got some then started to act weird (rolling around) then flew away.

Vintage John Madden Walker Muffler sign
Look! I went back to the 1970’s! You can also purchase this from some guy on ebay.com $7.99 plus shipping. I could give you the location of this sign if you are a clepto.
Have you ever wanted to try powdered chemicals?
Well, I have always wanted to try powder but never have. I purchased JBS Industries Hydro White Powered Tire & Engine Cleaner (BN 07257). I purchased it from KR (JBBX5401 $47.57 for 50 pounds). The label says to add 1/2 to 1 pound per gallon of water then dilute up to 25 to 1. So I gathered up all my supplies to make some tire cleaner.
I purchased a 5-gallon paint mixer from Finish Factor and some measuring cups from the Dollar Tree. I forgot to bring my scale to weigh the powder so I decided that 2 cups equaled a pound.
Steps: 1) Add water to bucket, 2) Open powder, 3) Add 10 cups of powder to water, 4) Stir with paint stirrer (Optional: you can also put the top back on to avoid some spilling.), 5) Done, 6) Test
The tire cleaner looks really nice and was very foamy. But it was not very green. Maybe I will change the tip in the hydrominder or add more powder next time? Next time I will also try using a 15 gallon drum instead of a 5 gallon bucket, and then I could stir the cleaner faster.
