Old foam brush handle

I was trying to replace the brush and the whole end of the brush handle cracked.  I have never thought to check the end of the handle, it looks totally corroded.

Not really sure about this problem.  The lock would not turn so I sprayed some WD40 in the lock and I was able to wiggle it free.  Do I need to replace the plug lock?

Max-Vend II Vending door setup

The “Push” door is on a A shaped bracket with a metal prevention setup.  The metal piece (to prevent theft) goes flat to the bucket edges (2 and 3 picture).  The last picture shows the plastic piece that prevents the “Push” door from getting jammed to far in the machine.  Or at least that is how I think it works.

I purchased more stuff from Greg today

IMG_0457.JPG

Well, I purchased some garbage can lids from Greg’s brother technically.  Greg gave them to his brother and I actually purchased them from Greg.  But they used to be my Dad’s garbage can lids from his Valleydale car wash, which Greg replaced with the tepee type lids.  Right?  Well, I have them now, which is good.  Thanks Greg and Greg’s brother!

Are SDS drill bits the best idea ever?

IMG_0410.JPGIMG_0413.JPGIMG_0412.JPGIMG_0418.JPGIMG_0404.JPG

Greg told me to purchase a SDS drill and I purchased this DeWalt D25313K Heavy-Duty 1 inch SDS L-Shape 3 Mode Hammer.  I love these SDS drill bits and I guess the drill and my cheap Harbor Freight drill bits ($10 a piece, 42639, 42651 Drill Master masonry bits) are good.  Why does every drill bit not use this system.  The second picture shows the SDS bit layout, it consists of a locking mechanism.  The third picture shows the chuck, which you just jam the drill bit in and it clicks in place.  The fourth picture shows how you remove the bit by just pulling the chuck back.  This system is just for masonry bits I guess, but why?

I did actually use the drill and I mounted and reinforced some stuff.  The last picture is all the crap I needed to install a couple screws.
