I got a call last night saying the bay was stealing money again. When I got to the wash the wire harness was out.
I plugged the timer back in and still got the "COIN" error on the timer. I swapped the loop detector and still got the same error. I unplugged the loop detector and still got the error message. I unplugged the coin acceptor and the loop detector are still got the same error massage.
I talked to Greg and he thinks that there has to be a short in the wires. I will have to check tomorrow.
I installed the old IDX X-10 coin acceptor today and everything works fine now.
Someone broke my hp gun. The wand extension was bent bad and they broke off the end in the hp gun. I could not get the piece of the wand out so I just replace the Giant brass fitting.
Greg, emailed me today and he resolved my timer problem. I thought it was my coin acceptor but it ended up being my loop detector. The loop detector sends a coin signal to reset the timer. But the loop detector wanted to kill my timer so it kept sending the signal. So I reset the detector and now they are friends again. But the new IDX X-10 does not work. I will swap with the old one tomorrow.
Water leak solved. I looked at my pictures from yesterday and this is what caused the low ro water. The membrane did need to get replace though. This is the hose that feeds all the ro water to the bays.
Also, I could have had a leak from this super rigged hose job. A threaded nipple connector and some electrical tape. That is totally awesome. Yes, I said awesome.
I also moved the tank. One quick note, make sure you turn off the water before you cut the hose. You might get just a little wet.
Filled up my salt water tank today. I added five 40 pound bags of salt.
I had the same error on only one machine this time "CK L COIN DETCTR". The good news is the other worked all day. That is good.
I dumped the coins out of the coin dispenser assembly. I also concentrated on the coin leds and censor.
I cleaned out the coin hopper also.
My RO tank was almost empty and my RO membrane seems to not be making any water. So I decited to change out the RO membrane.
I really did not want to change the membrane by my self but it was very easy. Unbolt and pry things off slid it out the bottom.
Slid the new membrane in from the top and you are in business. Worked the first time. Very easy.
1/4" of water on the floor of the equipment room. The water was actually leaking out of the equipment room to the bays. Which is not good. I checked everything but could not find a leak. It has to be something in the ro system because it seems to only leak when I am not these and it is not the holding tank.
