Shampooer vacuum problem

IMG_0770.JPGIMG_0772.JPGIMG_0773.JPG

I was trying to figure out what the problem was with the spampooer.  No shampoo was coming out.  I decided to check the strainer.

Well I broke the strainer off.  Which is bad, but it looks like the strainer was the problem.  I guess I am done for today.  Until I find another strainer.

Pump o-ring problem – Update

IMG_0739.JPGIMG_0742.JPGIMG_0754.JPG

I went to Sears last night and picked up the new Craftsman 30mm socket 45926.  It looks so cool with that laser etched 30 large enough to see from far away.  The second picture is the wrench and socket taking a break.

The last pictures are with the o-ring on the check valve.

The o-rings seemed larger and looked like they were chewed up.  I replace all the rings but the rings on the top were worse.

Pump o-ring problem

IMG_0705.JPGIMG_0708.JPGIMG_0715.JPG

I was getting water forced into the wax and high pressure chemical lines.  I got my socket set and figured out that I lost my 30mm socket.  Great but I had the tag for the old socket.  I needed to unbolt the six large nuts on the high pressure pump and replace the o-rings.

I replaced my Sandpiper pump with a Flojet today.  The Sandpiper pump still worked fine but foamed a little.

IMG_0347.JPGIMG_0350.JPG

I used the Flojet kit 20381-057 1/4″ OD tube connector for the outgoing chemical.  (UPDATE: I shortly after this changed to all 1/2″ Flojet fittings.  Then changed the outgoing to 3/8″ Flojet fitting.)

MacGyver award winning fix.  The fix was 3/8″ barb to 1/4″ barb.  After bitching about crafting this conversion I noticed all the other Flojets are setup the same.  I think I am going to purchase some poly tube fittings 1/2″ for my Flojet setups.

These are the Flojet mounting brackets 20982100A that I purchased.  They look cool and give any install a more professional look.  I believe that my setup needs all the help it can get.

Viagra 50mg tablets and Hawk cologne, What do they have in common? Ask Sam.

IMG_0168.JPGIMG_0170.JPGIMG_0167.JPG

Started off normal…. some shoes on the phone line and a box of Sam's garbage.  I do not know why people dump garbage.  I wanted to dump the garbage at the guy's house but….

IMG_0172.JPGIMG_0180.JPG

It was just a box of normal trash, a 1990 basketball trophy, sealed blanket, some bath salt and lotion, a ton of men's cologne (one being Hawk cologne).  Oh also Viagra tablets.  Maybe Sam got kicked out of his house and I felt sorry even though I had his address.  Anyway the bottle said "Take one tablet by mouth one hour before activity".  Not sure about the "activity" but it made me start to wonder about the women's shoes, blanket, bath salts, lotions, Hawk Cologne, and the 1990 basketball trophy.  They all have a common theme but I am not sure what the theme is.  Well maybe not the trophy unless there was no female.  Did I just just post that?

While I was dumping the garbage.  This lady pulled up and started dumping garbage.  She had a large garbage bag of crap.  Does anyone know that my dumpster is on private property?  Also, look at the other cool artifacts I found… a Iomega Zip Disk, cool.
