Close-Up Freshening Xperience whiteing study

IMG_0204.JPGIMG_0206.JPG

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you smeared Close-Up toothpaste all over your dirty FRP board? I found this toothpaste on the ground and I already brushed my teeth for the week so……

This is what it looked like after I applied the “Whitening Cinnamon Blast” to my FRP board.

I waited 2 days because I wanted super whitening action, not really sure what the white crap comming off the red Close-Up is (first picture).  (Actually, I was sick and forgot to clean it up.)  But I just rinsed the Close-Up off and presto! spotty white FRP!  Worked really well; maybe if you let the Close-Up stay on only 1 day?  The conclusion of this study is if you leave Close-Up on your teeth or anything else it should whiten anything up!

If you have something to sell let me know.

I purchased some stuff from Greg today so he could clean out his garage.

I purchased this broken computer?  It has some sort of oily black stuff in it but it was a good deal and maybe it will work.

I also purchased these Water Wizard 2 Hyper-Concentrate tanks, a garbage can, some Hydro Pel Yellow, some Qual Chem Qyellow Additive, a motor with a propeller at the end, 3×3 solenoids blocks and a 1×4 solenoid block and a Dema solenoid electrical thing.  I also am purchasing some other stuff from his brother, lots of interesting things.  Maybe I should sell some of this stuff or my stuff?

Fake Craftsman tools?

IMG_7758.JPGIMG_7759.JPGIMG_7762.JPG

I got my fake Craftsman tools today from Woot.com.  I paid $5.03 for 3 x 12 piece sets.  I needed some extra screw drivers and I always purchase the best.

I did learn a lot about using a screw driver from reading the Warning label on back of the package:

1)  always wear eye protection (I can not see without eye protection so I am safe (glasses).)
2)  disconnect power before using the tool on electric work or electrical sources (This would add a step to every electrical project! 🙂 )
3)  never use to pry (What?  I thought that is what a flat head screw drivers were for;  also for digging.)

How to change out Dremel brushes

IMG_7722.JPGIMG_7724.JPG

This Dremel MultiPro is model 395 and you need to purchase the Dremel motor brushes 90930.  So when the Dremel does not Dremel anymore, replace the brushes, just like your vacuum motors.  Find the blue brush holders, there are 2 (last picture).

Unscrew it and remove the brushes to replace, pretty easy.

Rube Goldberg weep system

My Dixmore Weep Mizer DX1000 is not working correctly.  I tested the Weep Mizer in my other wash Wylam and it would not turn on the solenoid.  So I decided to wire a normally closed solenoid to the heater thermostat.  This plan involved purchasing a Rain Bird (CP-075) irrigation solenoid, of course this solenoid runs off 24 volts.  So I needed a 24 volt transformer to convert the 120 volts to 24 volts.  I then used an extension cable to wire the system.  Then magic everything works.

When I was trying to rewire the thermostat I ended up having to rewire the thermostat.  I always love side projects.
