I had 2 stuck Medeco locks and no WD-40. When is the last time you lost your bottle of WD-40? Look at the new bottle now…… it has this great “smart straw”! It’s a great design for someone who misplaces crap all the time.

The reason the lock gets stuck is because you pull the key out with the bottom of the slot to the left. The metal ‘V’ on the plug that locks into the groove is on the bottom at that position and is sitting in water. The lock housing rusts, and it gets into the lock and makes it stick. Make sure the key pulls out turned the other way and you won’t ever have that problem again.
