I got my Water Wizard books from my Dad today. Now I just need to talk to an electrician to get an estimate on installing the electrical.
Moody after 2 days of heavy demo
Water Wizard transfer day
We rented a Penske 24 foot truck, blue dual axel trailer, and fork lift today to move the Water Wizard.
William just put the gantry on the trailer and strapped it down with 4 2″ tie downs, which we purchased from Lowes.
The pumping station went into the back of the truck along with the rails, entry gate, etc.
It was a long and bumpy road and my back is going to hurt tomorrow. “Air Ride”… I say back breaker.
William moved the gantry off the trailer without any problem!
Thanks again William and my Dad for your help today.
Moody tear down
My Dad sold his Moody carwash to investors that are tearing the place down and I get around 90% of the equipment. My first project is the vending island removal. I’m excited!
I removed all the vending machines and I am going to try and remove the island tomorrow. If anyone has any great ideas let me know. There is only about a 1″ cap on top of a lot of sand.
The BIG move!
William, my Dad, and I moved the old equipment to my house today. It was surprisingly not that bad. The truck is a 350 and my little car is next to it for scale. I believe that you can fit my car in the bed of the truck (or at least it looks like it). Thanks for helping me move the equipment William!
New GV800 security computer setup
My Dad’s computer was totally screwed up: it stinks (see first picture with the dogs) and is rusted and has corrosion on the motherboard. So everything needed to go into the garbage can.
I selected a MSI P6NGM motherboard which has a built in Nvidia card. This motherboard worked great and is really a neat little motherboard for the GeoVision GV800 card. We will see how it works at the carwash. But, I assume that this motherboard is not waterproof. Yes, I reused the rusty case… it adds character.
