I added a 3/4″ check valve today. Just so happens that I was going to order one today online but Mike, a distributor (Premier Carwash Systems) in our area, pulled up at my car wash. So I just purchased the part from him…. really easy!
Black Crap!
The same black crap that was in the pump supply hose, must have got into the check valve and now it decided to jam it up. Now I need to get a new check valve.
Foam Brush Weep Problem
I was wondering why my equipment floor was wet and now I figured it out! When the weep system would turn on there would be a leak: the check valve was cracked.
Water Wizard Problem
The presoak did not work again and there was pressure built up on the outgoing side of the check valve so the check valve could not open. I just took the hose off to remove the pressure. I am not really sure what the problem is so I will need to look at it again tomorrow.
Foam brush weep system
I hooked up my foam brush weep system today. The check valve at the far end is used as a plug because I did not have one with my today.
I just attached the foam brush weep to one of the pumps weep lines for now, but I will need to purchase some parts and mount it better later. The last picture shows the weep solenoid on the far left which is where I will be mounting the weep line.
