Rowe changer fixed?

The changer has not had a problem yet. I checked out what I believe Galen was talking about today. A tab that is at the bottom of the bill box.

I am using a model 4-50346-01 bill box which did not have the tabs. But I did have a stare 4-50346-03  bill box with tabs.  Everything looked okay and thanks for your advice.

Rowe changer fixed?

Today, I took out the stacker again and was planning on taking George’s advise about removing the snap clips and straighting the push plate. I looked and could not find them. So, I put a dollar in the unit and when the stacker pushed the push plate out I cut the power. This is definitely not the most graceful move but the end results are the same.

Rowe changer problem

IMG_9806.JPG
Today, I was inspecting the changer and got an error message “CK STACKER”. Just like Mep1 told me to check the stacker. The stacker functions and everything works correctly. But the stacker “push plate” is bent.

I am not sure how this could even happen but it did. I inspected my other changer and it is straight. IMG_9817.JPG

It happened again, the changer is getting bills slipped behind the “push plate”? in front of where the bills get stacked. Then will not error out. The changer will still validate bills and spit them out or it will jam.

Coin acceptor broken

Someone decided to try to unjam the coin acceptor for me. That was very nice except they broken it. Note in the second picture the metal guide (bottom left) that fits on the acceptor where the coin first comes in (top right).
