High pressure soap problem

I did not push the chemical hose all the way in the chemical tank because I did not want it to over flow.  So instead I ran out of chemical a couple weeks later.  I check the chemical tanks every day.  I do not check the mixing tanks.  I guess that was my mistake.

Foam brush chemical problems

I called my chemical guy to order blue foam brush chemical today.  I was using blue triple foam which did not foam.  I should have noticed but the chemical is blue and has a blue top.  But that does not make it “Bubbles Foam Brush Shampoo”.  Stupid mistake and I do not have triple foam.  I should blame it all on the chemical guy.

Bay problem – no water – Update

I replace the boom hose with a smaller hose and still no water was coming out in the bay.  I removed the weep intake and water came out from the pump.  Then I felt like a moron when I realized what the problem was.

I took off the tip and water came out of the wand.

The tip was clogged.  I replaced it and everything was okay.

Low pressure problems

My low pressure functions were not working in any bay.  The equipment room floor was wet and one wall in the bays was wet.  The presoak and tire cleaner was not working and when you disconnected the hose from the pump to the solenoid block the pump worked fine.

I really had no clue so I called Greg and he enlightened me on what the problem was.  I removed the check valves between the solenoid bank and the pump.  Then pressed on them with a screwdriver then reattached.  Both functions worked fine so I turned on the high pressure one bay at a time to try and find the broken low pressure check valve.  I had no luck.  The problem was the presoak and tire cleaner use the same check valve in the bay.  Which confused me with trouble shooting but not Greg.

Bay problem – no water

There was a cracked fitting between the pump head and the unloader.  I decided to replace the fitting.  Then I decided to replace the hose that runs from the pump to the high pressure hose.  I assumed that it was the size of a swivel saver.  Which it was not.  I cut the hose with a grinder because it had no swivels on it.  Then I had to put a boom hose in its place but no water would come out at the bay.  The pump got super hot and I have no clue what the problem is.  So I gave up.  I will need to look at it tomorrow.
