Another high pressure hose busted. I grinded off the hose problem. Then used a pre-made bay hose to fix the problem.
I dyed someone truck pink today
I dyed someone truck pink today. I was using older chemical and obviously the chemical was to strong. But I just dumped the chemical and changed to new chemical. I went from a green tip to a yellow tip.
Foam brush chemical problem
One of my foam brushes was leaking chemical. I cleaned out the solenoid then everything worked fine.
Rowe changer problems
Both Rowe changers were broken. The Rowe with the stacker had a bill jam "CK TRANSPORT VF".
The second Rowe had the error message "CK L COIN DETCTR". Just reset changer.
Crashed hard drive
Had a hard dive crash last night. Luckly the computer has raid. Looks like a Western Digital WD1200BB-00CAA1 ATA/100.
Tighten up the conveyer chain
Greg explained today how you can figure out if the chain needs to be tightened. Apparently the Sonny's installers did not tighten it up correctly either time. The first time the chain fell off. Then they took out two links and still did not take enough out. So sense the Sonny's installers got all there money Greg decided to fix the chain himself.
The picture to the right has an arrow indicating where the spring and the end of the bolt is. You attach a come along on the chain then tighten. This will compress the spring. When the spring is about six inches down the bolt from the nut you figure out how many links to remove. Then tighten the nut for safety reason. Ours would not move so William removed the three links. Greg says that when the spring gets within one inch of the nut then you need to remove some links.
Another Sonny's installer half install. The flapper that counts the rollers counts each roller twice.
Greg tried to fix it but quickly figured out why they did the crappy install. The brace is not high enough.
Greg accomplished all his goals for today.
Broken AC unit
Ac unit had some problems today. Greg figured out the problem. It was a short run of cable that ran to the service switch. The wire shorted out twice.
Vending machine problems
Coin mech. does not have any nickels, dimes, or quarters in it. Is that a problem? The bill acceptor had a bill jammed.
Vacuum hose problem
Another vacuum hose problem. But I saved the day.
Fuse blew again – update
Today, I swapped the run from the meter box to the equipment room with my old power wire that I reran. Apparently, the power line really did not have a problem (it must be the terminal block or the wire ends were corroded). Ever thing worked fine. All functions work for now. Now, I am using the white wire instead of the light blue wire and have not had to rerun all the wires yet. Which is good.
