Skagway, Alaska population 825

Randy sent these pictures of a car wash in Skagway, Alaska.  He said the pictures were from 2 years ago and is now out of business.  If you have any car wash pictures, please send them it.  Thanks, Randy

The sign above the meter box says “USE US QUARTERS ONLY, OTHER CURRENCY JAMS THE MACHINE and You will not be able to use the car wash and neither will any one behind you, Thank you, Management” (attached with duck tape).  Wow!  I think it would be time to purchase new coin acceptors, especially with 2 bays.

Vending and changer:  I would not believe it except I saw it with my own eyes! An out of order Rowe changer? Impossible!

Bay setup:  I really like the Armor All sign and love the coin acceptor.

Foam brush setup:  I like the foamer, just proves you can mount them anywhere.

Off Pelham Parkway, Shell gas station wash

This location is off Highway 31 where 52 intersects 33.  Note for the link the Shell gas station is to the left where the truck is.

I think the self serve might be closed down?  Along with the air machine, Rowe changer, D/H vendor and automatic?  I like the items left in the D/H vendor before they pulled the plug.  Can you guess?  Of course “Royal Pine” Little Trees and fake Rain-X.
