I replaced the transformer and the capacitor today. It looked totally fried and smelt like it also. I also did not get electrocuted. Which is good. Oh and it worked.
Hydrominder problem
My hydrominder was overflowing when I opened the equipment room today.
The valve was not working properly. When the water was on the water would just trickle out like the picture above left. When you simulated the float it worked fine.
I had a spare valve repair kit (Dultmeier Sales part number HR 6655K) and replaced the valve. Everything worked fine again. I also changed to Warsaw’s Radiance red high pressure soap. Because it sucked down the rest of my hand cleaner, I mean high pressure soap and foam brush soap.
Installed a new air filter regulator
Today, I installed a new air filter regulator. Also, ran some new air line 3/8" od. With new push lock fittings.
Storage tank
I started to fix up the storage tank for a hydrominder. I also installed a 1 1/2" plug at the bottom of the tank.
New equipment idea – pump location
I removed the old thermostat and moved the Weep Mizer over a little. The plan is to install a shelf to house the pumps then mount the solenoids over that.
Tested two pumps
I tested two extra pumps I got from Rumores today. One is an IR Aro 66605J-3EB which has santoprene diaphragm, ball and check valves. Which is good for soap products. The second IR Aro pump is a PD02P-APS-PTT which has teflon disk, check and diaphragm. Which is good for harsher chemicals.
They both seemed to work just fine. They were both set around 20 – 30 psi.
Hydrominder problem
I swapped out my hydrominder valve today. It was a cracked crappy plastic one. I changed it out with a used brass looking one.
New equipment idea – holding tank
Cleaned out the old cold water holding tank.
