Water Wizard Problem – Update

IMG_2104.JPGIMG_2105.JPG

Well I had the same problem today.  The presoak did not work and the pressure built up on the outgoing side of the check valve so the check valve could not open.  This time I called Greg for a little help.  I adjusted the air regulators (there are 2 air regulators one for the sides and one for the top).  I let the unit pump presoak for about 15 minutes and ran the gantry back and forth down the track to try and replicate the problem.  Greg believes that there is a kink in the presoak hose somewhere in the system.

The Procom pump is running at 75 psi and the pressure at the gantry is 50 psi, the air is set at 35 psi.

Water Wizard Problem

My Jim Coleman Water Wizard stopped delivering presoak!  (I only run one presoak and the system is closed to high pressure but does use air.)  The problem I am having is I am getting pressure buildup on the outward side of the check valve which does not allow the valve to open.  What does not make any sense is how the pressure builds up.  I ran the presoak function for about 10 minutes and it worked fine.  Ran a couple cars through still no problem.  It just quits working whenever it feels like it!

A Clean Car is a Happy Car! – Problem

IMG_1034.JPGIMG_1042.JPGIMG_1043.JPG

My “A Clean Car is a Happy Car!” was blinking on and off nonstop for no reason.  I checked the eyes and there was no transmitting beam so the problem was with the Banner eye.  I was going to swap it with the under carriage eye when I figured out that the wires had just cracked out of the wire nut, which was very weird but good because the eye was not bad.  So I attached the wires and everything was okay!

Added Number to Vacuums

IMG_0476.JPGIMG_0479.JPG

I added numbers to my vacuums and also recorded the serial numbers today.  I should have done this yesterday but I forgot.  The Police officer said that I needed the serial number to report an item stolen and the numbers on the vacuums will help with finding the serial numbers.

Someone Stole My Vacuum!

IMG_0426.JPG

The worst feeling is driving up to the carwash and everything looks fine then all of a sudden you notice…….. you are missing a VACUUM!  Well I had to call the Police and talk to them, which is fun.  But when I started to dump some garbage I thought my luck was turning around.

IMG_0428.JPGIMG_0432.JPGIMG_0438.JPG

I found the vacuum on my lot behind my dumpster.  I was surprise how they got the money out.  But what was really surprising was the damage they inflicted on the vacuum.  The vacuum is totaled, at least that is what I would say.  It is amazing what they did to it.  It really makes me mad….  and they probably will come back, which is worse!

Vacuum break in

IMG_0394.JPGIMG_0401.JPGIMG_0403.JPG

Someone broke into all my Jim Coleman vacuums last night and stole about a quarter?  I am not really sure why they did not stop after the first vacuum but they had to mess up all of them.  Thanks!

Vacuum problem

One of my vacuum timers did not have power so I checked it out and something had blown the breaker.  I checked the vacuum motors and one smelled like melting plastic and the other smelled fine.  So I replaced the stinky motor and everything worked great!
