Sensortron problem

IMG_2890.JPGIMG_2896.JPG

Not really sure how this happens? But there was a coin jam.  Also some D/H Max-Vend II problems. I’m never quit sure why this happens. I guess it just likes to cause trouble.

Hydrominder Problem

IMG_2658.JPGIMG_2659.JPGIMG_2660.JPG

This is an interesting problem where the pvc looks like it is not level and makes the hydrominder stick. I am not sure how this problem just started though. It was leaking into the presoak tank and on the floor. I also have an action packed video.

Installing NOS in my little Honda Fit

IMG_2607.JPG

Actually, I drank the NOS before I changed my air filter. This how-to is for changing out your air filter in the little Honda Fit. Well, I don’t know how to change my oil so I went to the Express Lube and apparently the car is too new to have the filter in stock. (Why does every car on Earth need a cabin air filter? I thought they were just for nice cars? Also why would I ever want to replace it? I walk outside and I don’t live in a bubble.)

The difficulty level for changing out your air filter is: SUPER HARD

IMG_2613.JPGIMG_2612.JPGIMG_2619.JPG

First, find the only place the filter will fit. Second, open place where filter may fit (my car has 4 latches). Third, surprise! you found the air filter.

I guess the filter is dirty enough to replace? I have no idea, they just told me to replace it. Second picture shows a little bridge thing going down (or just pay attention how the other one looked when you removed it). Look how pretty the new filter is! Snap it back up. Super easy! All the car repairs I have done: Change disk brakes, drum brakes and air filter. I also can fix some carwash problems.

Hueytown Police Department called

IMG_2363.JPGIMG_2390.JPG

Nothing is better then getting a call from the Police department at 7:00 in the morning. I loved the Police operators comments when I asked what the problem was. She said “I think something is wrong with the building”, What? Of course she really did not know what the problem was, but I came up with some situations when I was driving there. It ended up that I forgot to lock my Dilling & Harris Max-Vend II. Nothing happened, which is good, they just pulled at the machine.

Another crime happened in Wylam. I need to talk to the Birmingham Police about this crime. Someone tried to just use a random key to open my dumpster? Why would you think this would work? It is not even an Abus key, if it was I believe Abus sells about 2 different keyed locks though.

Some annoying and fun problems

IMG_1986.JPGIMG_2036.JPGIMG_2058.JPGIMG_2061.JPG

I got to dig out pits at both of my carwashes, which is always fun.  I had a RO leak which rained on me when I was in the equipment room, which was fun.  Then I somehow got a stick stuck under my car, which was fun for a while.  But the sound of scratching gets a little annoying.

Reusable fitting problem

IMG_1959.JPGIMG_1966.JPGIMG_2011.JPG

I was going to clean up the bay and the hose fell out of the boom.  This is my first reusable fitting problem.  Looks like the hose just wore out?

IMG_2024.JPGIMG_2019.JPG

My new setup in the boom is a 6 foot hose then a 4 inch piece of stainless steel then a 90.  Then a 1 foot swivel saver along with a swivel and a 8 foot hose.  The reason I used the shorter hose in the boom with the high pressure stainless steel pipe was so the boom would not rub a hole in the high pressure hose.  Hope is lasts well.

Coleman Fragrance Vacuum Problem

IMG_1611.JPGIMG_1615.JPGIMG_1617.JPG

I replaced all the barbs with Parker 1/8″ x 1/8″ push lock fittings.   (I purchased from Grainger like MEP1 told me to.  Thanks)  But I am having a weird problem I can not figure out.

IMG_1620.JPGIMG_1622.JPG

2/3 fragrances work, the one that does not work really should work though.  This is what I tried.

1)  Checked the wire from the timer to the solenoid with a voltmeter.  Works

2)  Button works and makes a sound when pushed, the air also keeps running when the button is pushed.

3)  When I rewire (hot wire) frag 2 to frag 3 (broken) the solenoid will work fine.

4)  When I rewire (hot wire) frag 3 (broken) to frag 2 the solenoid will not work.

5)  Swapped the timer with another fragrance vacuum.  Still does not work.

6)  Ground seems to be all connected fine to the solenoid.  Checked with voltmeter.

7)  Rewire from the timer wire (wire harness) to the solenoid and still did not work.

The only things I did not check:

1)  Voltage

2)  Rewiring the wire on the wire harness to the solenoid.
