From the makers of the Navigator (Pro Car Wash Equipment) they bring to you an interesting concept. An express tunnel that will fit in a self serve bay! Just add a conveyor and a pit.
Did you know that Sonny’s sells a friction and a touch free automatic? Sonny’s I think is going to hire everyone in the industry and also put everyone else out of business. If you watched the show floor the Sonny’s booth was where all the action was. Even places like Kleen-Rite need to watch out! Speaking of Kleen-Rite do you notice the thing on the right the touch free automatic? Yes it is a Cobra that purple thing that Kleen-Rite use to sell.
I just so happen to have a spare BC-200 in my basement that I got from my Dad instead of him THROWING IT AWAY (Which is what I would like to do!). So I took the front skin off and installed it at the carwash. I have some more work to do like installing the high security plate that I purchased from Kleen-Rite ,which I hope they have in stock or it will take them FOREVER! Have you noticed that Kleen-Rite seems to backorder more stuff now like Procon pumps and Hydrominder tips?
I need to start documenting my purchases better so I do not purchase the same crappy products all the time. So….first the FedEx guy gets my stuff off the truck…
The 2 powder chemicals that I purchased were: 1) JBS Hydro White Powdered Tire & Engine Cleaner from Kleen-Rite for $47.57 (JBBX5401). 2) JBS Frenzy Powdered Presoak from Kleen-Rite for $52.54 (JBBX5201).
I have already purchased this tire cleaner before and even though it says white it is yellow. Also when you dilute it according to directions it is too weak. So this is the cwguy tire cleaner mix.
First I added 30 gallons of hot water. Next I opened the garbage bag and scooped out some powder.
I blended it all up and ran it for 30 minutes and pumped it out. I think that I added the powder too fast because the last picture shows all that was left at the bottom. It made a total of about 34 gallons. I will let you know what it looks like when I use it.
Always bad when water in coming out from underneath the equipment room door. The unloader stem broke off. Not really sure if that is normal wear or not. Kleen-Rite sells replacement stems but I am not really sure how to get the stem out of the unloader.
The pump was running rough so I replaced the o-rings. Afterwards it still was running rough and I think the pump needs to be readjusted, but I did not have my socket set with me.
I was having a problem with the Flojet 1/2″ push lock falling apart so I had to use this 1/4″ push lock connector. I just got my 3/8″ push lock from Kleen-Rite and installed it today, I also changed all the tubing to match, now all black. Cool!
