s2001s2002s2003s2004s2005s2006s2007s2010s2011s2012s2014

Needs a new sticker…. maybe? 🙂 Safe door come complete with a lock with no key!  For no additional charge!  LOL  🙂  Nice dent on the side…. this is what you get for paying someone else to do something for you.  🙂  Hose looks pretty much rusted.  Besides the dent I thought this was a pretty nice unit?  Just the stuff I saw…. I want to sell this as is…. as I am not sure if it works well.  But I will make sure you have a working timer for $1400.  Anything less and it is as is. But it is a good Coleman vacuum and not a swipe and clean! Also this was supposedly working when removed….. 🙂 But it was actually not my vacuum so I would have to test it to confirm that it will work. To stand behind it…. then sell it as is. LOL 🙂

Needs a  new sticker…. maybe?  🙂  One clean out clip, safe door (I believe they are $35…. but I have not ordered any yet.  I stole this one!  🙂 ), fix dome support thing, also maybe a new brush on the messed up carpet hose?  🙂  Just the stuff I saw…. I want to sell this as is…. as I am not sure if it works well.  I was told “this worked when it was taken out of service”…. so keep that in mind. But I will make sure you have a working timer for $1400.  Anything less and it is as is.  But it is a good Coleman vacuum and not a swipe and clean!  But it was actually not my vacuum so I would have to test it to confirm that it will work.  To stand behind it…. then sell it as is.  LOL  🙂

USED CAR WASH EQUIPMEMT FOR SALE: D&S Drop Shelf Vendor

ds vendor ds vendor2 ds vendor3 ds vendor4 ds vendor5 ds vendor6 ds vendor7 ds vendor8ds vendor9

This is a pretty neat D and S drop shelf vendor / Laurel drop vendor.  Probably the same as the Laurel’s electric drop vendors but without all the extra electronics?  (Display)  Seems pretty simple yet ingenious…. just like the Laurel manual drop vendors.  Who came up with those coin acceptors…. that would take some design skills?

YES…. I did not install the doors correctly!  But I just did this to show where the door needed to slide into!  LOL  🙂

Anyways…. I purchased this without measuring first and this will not fit where I was planning on putting it.  I was wanting $350. I would consider this in very nice condition! 🙂

Car Wash Equipment – Hamilton Autec Auto Cashier

acw03acw04acw03acw04acw05

This unit is just to demonstrate what an Autec unit looks like.  A unit that “pops its breaker if” you plug in the coin hopper…. basically means the coin hopper is probably screwed?  LOL  🙂  So between the broken coin hopper and the “unsure” (broken) cash acceptor…. what is left?  The controller and box?  🙂

Car Wash Equipment – Hamilton ACW-5 Auto Cashier

acw01acw02acw01acw04

While I honestly believe an ACW 5 with a credit card computer is worth $3000.  This is stupid…. but since the acw has a new faceplate someone will purchase it.  People are stupid and want nice looking over priced items.  🙂  I will never understand cheap car wash owner…. ever.  Plus this unit is missing a $1500-2000 Hamilton computer.  Shiny pretty pos for sure!

Difference between 8 and 10 foot Werner ladders?

P1231058 P1231059 P1231074 P1231075 P1231053

Of course there are no measurements!  🙂  What is interesting is that it appears to be the same width fiberglass for the legs?  Both are 300# the yellow Werner 10 foot FSA10 is made in 1997!  P/N 50058-21  The orange Werner 8 foot FIA08 I am not sure.

What is funny is how on the orange Werner they changed the label to add the wording “12 ft” on it…. Reach?…. Really?  Or is it just for confusion…. because the highest standing level for the 8′ is 5 feet 9 inches?  🙂  On the 10 foot ladder the highest standing level is 7 feet 8 inches.

Is it just me or does shopping for nuts and bolts take for ever?

UPDATE 2015.01.29 I would order from them again…. Why not? That saved a lot of time….. Also Tim (maybe the official Uncle Nutty himself? 🙂 ) emailed and said they are send them out today! He did say they might have “fell out”? Also some crap about “digging out from Snow Storm”? WTH? LOL 🙂

UPDATE  2015.01.28  Usually I would just make a new post but I thought I would just add to this one?  I had an item not included in my first order…. I followed directions from their site 2 days ago:  “For the quickest reply, send messages to [email protected]

So I called Uncle Nutty today @ 1-855-556-8889 and their phone system did not allow me to talk to anyone (but I did call at 3:59 central…. they might be on Eastern?  But how would I know?).

So I am guessing nutty.com is more like Lowes and Home Depot then I thought!  LOL  🙂  They only owe me $8 of product though…. I would have paid way over that and got less from the other stores.  But still Nutty support is not all it is “cracked up” to be….. get it?  Cracked up…. nuts?  No…. Yes?  🙂    I will call again I guess?  I hate wasting my time…. but then they win!  🙂

P1261128 P1261121

Is it just me or is it every time you go to Home Depot or Lowes and look for nuts and bolts does it take 20-30 minutes?  Every time the screw I am looking for is the catch all for crap people do not want to purchase or someone dumps random sizes in the same box!

But I tried Nutty Company this time…. nutty.com or Uncle Nutty.  I wonder how this will work?  Sure was easier ordering my product!  🙂  Was cheaper  and faster also…. plus what could possibly go wrong?  🙂 I get cheap 1/2″ stainless stuff from China….. wait a second…. wasn’t the stuff from Home Depot and Lowes from China also?  LOL  🙂  Come on!  No one tells you where the bolts and stuff come from it’s a joke!  🙂  Nutty Company probably sells just U.S.A. made bolts…. I do not know…. I know they do sell some U.S. stuff which is nice.  But the item I saw was from Chicago…. I do not support that city.  The ICA and Oprah are from Chicago.  🙂  Anyway…. just try to purchase US bolts…. I could not figure out where to purchase any? Really let me know.

I know fastenal.com sells U.S. manufactured products…. but their website just like Lowes and Home Depot’s fastener section is to difficult to find all the parts you need.

Operators want more then 3+ car washes…. WTF!!!!!!!!! :)

wpid-20150112_211510.jpgwpid-20150112_211521.jpg

Need proof no one reads long or short spam or bulk mail?  It does not matter who it is from.  🙂  This was from the PRESIDENT of SECWA…..? Jim Rooney?

“Today’s operator flavor owns 3+ car washes and wants to add more.”  LOL  🙂

All kidding aside….  To paraphrase in my opinion what President Jim Rooney said in his State of the Industry paragraph…. All operators use to own 1-2 self-serves or full-serve washes in 2005…. now in 2015….  operators own 3+ washes and want to own more!  But the same operators are shifting to expresses with some flex-serves “on the sidelines”.

So SECWA sounds like they are converting to a flex service abandoning self-service people.  Jim also did mention self-serves converting them to gates.  Then also mentioned IBA…. but stated “IBAs converting”?  I assume to expresses?  Not sure what Jim owns?  I would assume Jim owns 3 expresses and he wants to purchase more?  LOL  🙂
