Does everyone except for me purchase nice drill bits? Well…. These feel like nice drill bits! :)

Now I just got these: Walter Surface Technologies 01E618 29-Piece Round Shank Jobber’s Length SST+ Drill Bit Set, Orange Like today…. a couple hours ago.  🙂  So these might all break and be total crap…. but I have not touched a drill bit that felt this nice before.  The cutting edges are also very sharp all the way up the bit…. to the touch.  Unlike Dewalt, etc. brands, big box bits.  Also the price is $2.37 a bit…. you probably pay more for crappy bits?  These have to be better…. I would think?  LOL 🙂  I think they claim to last x50 longer than the other stuff I purchased in the past…. so 50 holes I guess?!  LOL 🙂  The bar is really low for me…. I just want the job at hand done.  Maybe the next also?  Using 1 drill bit total!

Why you have to purchase a Yeti cooler!

It was the first thing I thought of when I saw this cooler!  LOL 🙂

I believe the only true use for an expensive cooler is for deep sea fishing right?  Or to pick up other guys?  🙂  Like a woman would know what a Yeti cooler is?  Maybe if Louis Vuitton made a cooler…. am I wrong?  LOL 🙂  (To be honest I did not even know about Yeti coolers until I saw the Pelican cooler.  I was looking for a Pelican hard case.)  For everyone that wants a Yeti cooler let me help you decide which Yeti to purchase…. just purchase a styrofoam cooler!  The best cooler is the cooler you can throw away or leave behind!  🙂  Plus how would you like to clean out this cooler if it cost you over $450?  I did just purchase a Coleman cooler with WHEELS!  I did not know wheels are a requirement for a cooler…. especially if you want to move a ship anchor cooler (Pelican or Yeti) which weighs 20-30 pounds alone.  🙂

I know you are going to purchase one anyway…. so at least NO baby blue Yeti cooler!  Be a man!  LINK  I saw one and felt sorry for the “guy”…. do not be that “guy”!  🙂

Back to the above issue:  Sure my clean up guy called me about this cooler twice…. it was…. well…. I do not want to discuss the cooler anymore.  Plus the fish were very soft and squishy with no heads?  But it was actually not that stinky…. WELL I have smelt worse.  🙂

I also was weak 20 years ago or more…. I even ordered a stupid car from the factory.  I was debating luxury cars the other day…. is the only luxury car anyone “should purchase” a Lexus?  I purchased an Infiniti / Nissan…. bad idea.  Lexus / Toyoda best idea correct?  I have heard nothing but bad things about every manufacture but Lexus.  Well Toyoda I believe had the worse recall ever right?  🙂  I am also talking about resell.

Unitec E-Systems E-4000 Carwash Entry System

I never heard of this unit…. it has a born on date of 2001. Cash only…. pretty much all the boards look reworked for the Wash Select 2?

Okay…. I have a new theory why people like Unitec units. The amounts for the washes are on displays and not stickers? This is the reason Unitec entry units are cool right?  This might appear modern maybe?  The displays or the slanted door? But the slanted door is a very poor design flaw I believe? Also if you have a new Unitec Wash Select II note the door changes and the cup. Pretty sure the WS2 even have different designs also…. which indicate there is an issue?  Maybe?  🙂

Also the last door I am not really sure it is a Wash Select II door which they claim it is.  But I would assume it is a WS2 door…. it is also different.

WHAT? A website with Jim Coleman Vacuum model numbers? (Only one?) NO WAY! LOL :)

17259053075_f269ebf3bc_k16272006350_42b5675063_k16459368365_d53c4a7f18_k
I was trying to figure out some Jim Coleman vacuum model numbers the other day and I was checking out Coleman’s web site.  Well I could not find a list.  I believe the Coleman numbers are random?  What on earth is the last number for?

Only the “R” makes any sense.

Model Number Coleman’s Web Site
92000 Economical Vacuum (I could not find information)
93000 Oval Vacuum – Super Vacuum (Vac only)
93050 Oval Vacuum – Scrub-N-Vac Vacuum (Shampoo & Vac)
93040 Oval Vacuum – Fresh-N-Vac Vacuum (Fragrance & Vac)
94000 Round Vacuum – Vacuum (Vac only)
94040 Round Vacuum – Combo Vacuum with Fragrance (Fragrance & Vac)
94050 Round Vacuum – Combo Vacuum with Shampoo (Shampoo & Vac)
13100 Air & Water Machine – Looks like a vacuum without the vacuum
94060 Round Vacuum – Air & Vacuum Machine
28010 Hot Foam Carpet Shampooer – Looks like a vacuum without the vacuum
46010 Round Vacuum – Misty Fragrance Machine
Model Numbers I Have (Or at least unique models I had pictures of)
93044 Oval Vacuum – Fresh-N-Vac Vacuum ONLY Ugly Teal
93052 Oval Vacuum – Scrub-N-Vac Vacuum (Shampoo & Vac) Ugly Teal Bill Acceptor and Swipe & Clean
93054 Oval Vacuum – Scrub-N-Vac Vacuum ONLY Ugly Teal
94042 Round Vacuum – Combo Vacuum with Fragrance ONLY Crusty Black Lambo Sticker
94050 Round Vacuum – Combo Vacuum with Shampoo
94052 Round Vacuum – Combo Vacuum with Shampoo ONLY Crusty Black Lambo Sticker
94052R Refurbished Round Vacuum – Combo Vacuum with Shampoo ONLY Crusty Black Lambo Sticker
By “ugly teal”  I am referring to that hideous teal sticker that Coleman has which I hope they discontinued in the 1980s.  Hard to know because it is all over their website still.
By “Crusty Black Lambo Sticker”  I am referring to that super dated black sticker with the random red Lamborghini on it which I hope Coleman has discontinued also.  I can only assume it came out in the 1980s also?
The stickers are probably irrelevant when talking about model numbers.
Best quote:  “Provide all the benefits of the 94040 and the 94050 models but without the vacuum.”  Yeah thanks…. I noticed the vacuum was missing.  LOL 🙂

Stupid Brand names…. Great customer service and the customer with a GOLDEN hammer!

Speaking of a nice guy…. I purchased this GOLDEN hammer today!  Why?  Well…. because I really like the customer service I get from the store.  Do I need this hammer?  No…. but I always purchase something from a local hardware store.  Something to think about when you provide great customer service.  (I have also been going to Fastenal lately and also ordered from them online.  Why?  Their customer service is so much better then a box store it is insane.)

I can not see much use for this hammer…. But my inner nerd can envision Bob Widlar using this hammer to widlarize something.  LOL 🙂

Car Wash / Work Gloves for the Cold Weather times…. or to Pick up the ladies…. or direct traffic. :)

Well these really seem like great gloves…. but it was only a little below freezing when I tried them.  But I am a baby in cold weather…. it is like I am 90 (actually my kid is even better then me 🙂 ) and I was wearing my Carhartt quilted work pants with my crappy USA made Welch big & tall suspenders which I actually like better than my high quality Carhartt suspenders.  (When I am wearing 100 pound pants they seem to want to fall off!  🙂 )  I also was wearing my matching Carhartt quilted flannel lined jacket so I could show I am a total baby when it gets cold and of course I was wearing a beanie maybe even a liner.  Also I looked stupid with matching dark brown pant and a jacket…. but last time I checked it was not a fashion show?  Or was it?  LOL 🙂

OKAY back to the point these G&F 1528XL GripMaster Cold Weather Work Gloves…. I probably like G&F dipped gloves the best.  But I also just purchased the Dewalt cold weather gloves which I have not tried yet (I wanted some all black gloves and a review claimed the Dewalt logo would come off!  It did not…. yet.).

Well the G&F gloves seemed pretty nice…. I open the equipment room door with my keys.  Also I could find the correct key!  I could use a Dixmor remote to do stuff…. also I could click the correct buttons on the remote (I believe every time)!  I repaired a problem using wrenches.  I could also control the wrenches and put the wrenches back in the wrap!  I could put money in coin acceptors…. this started to get a little harder.  But it was fine and I could control the quarter almost normally.  I could get out my Gerber (which is starting to rust…. I just noticed) I believe it is called the diesel multi-pinch?  LOL 🙂  I had it stored in that little utility / knife pocket I believe all carpenter pants have.  This is good that I was able to get my multi-pinch tool out because it will come in handy for the last challenge.  Picking up quarters from the ground!  First quarter was a little hard…. second well I gave up and used a different method.

I also got these gloves lightly wet and the water did not seep in while I worked the whole time…. the whole 5 minutes.  Yeah…. It was cold!  LOL 🙂  It was probably an hour or two I believe?

I would recommend everyone trying these out…. plus they are pretty cheap I believe at $5.99.  If you do purchase them let me know what you think.

So I made an order from Kleen-Rite yesterday….. Shipping Again Really?

I would have to say KR shipping in my opinion is not honest.  The “receipt” I received states “*** PLEASE PRINT CONFIRMATION AND RETAIN IT FOR YOUR RECORDS ***”  WHY…. It is totally incorrect!!!!  So the original official shipping I confirmed is $41.63…. UPS Ground.    I would say this is pretty final if you ask me…. but actually no one did ask me!  🙂  At the least someone should have emailed or called.  That is customary for companies to do when they overcharge customers on something.

KRshipping3.jpg
Then I get 2x “Invoice”s from Kleen-Rite….. with additional shipping charges. So now my total is $175.34 not $162.36 or $12.98 more.  (I did check my CC and KR did charge me the higher amount.)
KRshipping3.jpgKRshipping2.jpg
Sure places make mistakes…. but no one called or emailed me and told me they were going to charge me more money.  I hate to be a little cry baby…. but this is actually one reason I have not purchased from them since 2013.  Shipping cost.

Also a side note…. they should just include the shipping on products like amazon.com.  $12.02 for a < 1 pound item is insane….. I would not have purchased that!  I believe that is what makes this $12.98 increase even worse for me.  Sure the other shipment weighs 60# and if they just increased the shipping for all the items and it was not itemized it would not be so appalling.

Another thing I hate….. why can they not quote greater than 99#?  I do not want to call anyone…. so I just purchased less.  Sure I am stupid…. but welcome to the new generation of people that only use new technology!  OLD PERSON!  LOL 🙂

Microseven Security Camera for your Car Wash

I ened up purchasing 2 Hikvision camera instead http://amzn.to/2f2v2Iy http://amzn.to/2epG88k

But I almost purchased this Microseven cameras…. the http://amzn.to/2dEEDiA which is $120 and has wifi, built in storage (sd card) and free live streaming. You can also use it with blue iris and they sell their own NVR. $90 http://amzn.to/2eM4FkW

Actually looking at it…. I was going to purchase 4x 3mp version. http://amzn.to/2ezHayU $650 or $180 a piece.

The reason I posted the Microseven camera is it might be interesting to note how technology is evolving.  Wifi, build in storage and free live streaming from a camera that cost half as much as a camera 10 years ago.  It is really amazing.  You also do not need a DVR which is the best feature…. plus with the ip based cameras all you need is a wifi router and then you can search footage without a computer!  I probably replace at least 4-5 computers in 10 years.  I also replaced at least 3 dvrs.  Replacing cameras unfortunately is a wash because I had to replace them over the years.

These new cameras can also support NVRs which some have amazing features…. Hikvison’s computer software and I believe some NVRs?  (I have not looked yet though http://amzn.to/2e5P0wT) support logging car tags and counting people.  You should check out the manuals if you are interested…. pretty cool stuff.

Need a little help moving stuff?

27251756955_98187ee236_k26645044724_833d9b2c4a_k
Well I am busy…. I can not help you move anything sorry.  LOL 🙂  I have been moving a lot of stuff recently…. and this was just a little tip no one shared with me.  I had to figure this out myself.   I would normally just roll my ratcheting tie straps up and put them in a case.  But now I use these Kotap BB-6B Ball Bungees which are 6″….. they are great from holding everything together.  Also after loading all your crap onto a trailer there is nothing worse then having to secure the excess strap….. well now I just use the bungee.  They save a little time and really help…. it is also easier to get the bungee off then some stupid knot I made!  🙂  The 6″ size seems to be perfect for the straps also.

I would really recommend both of these:

DRB Systems to acquire Unitec…. Now you are Screwed! LOL :)

drb_unitec.jpg

I am just kidding!  I do think it is scary though…. because I am pretty sure DRB does not answer or repair anything unless your contract is paid up?  I am also pretty sure someone told me their service cost was 3k a year?  (Or 3 bands… according to my new hood friend fresh out of the block.  He had to tell me what a band was?  🙂 )  To be fair the 3k was for tunnel equipment…. but why not everything?  Also another problem would be the industry push for just tunnel equipment these days…. Unitec at least had a focus on the IBA.  But like other people mentions I would never panic!  LOL 🙂  They will probably not change anything.

BTW…. if you want to purchase the above Unitec entry unit it is for sale.  It is also empty.
