Handicapped in Multiple Ways!

IMG_3971.JPGIMG_3972.JPG

Okay I understand that when you become 70 you either have to purchase a Buick or a Chevy Corvette.  I know the Corvette is expensive and only older people can afford them.  When is the last time you saw a young person driving a new Vet?  I should know my Dad owns one, not a convertible like this one.

But this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my life…  a Corvette with a handicap tag….. Really?!  You can tell by the parking job that the driver can’t see, walk or drive.  So how do they get out of the car?  The car is so low it is like laying down on the ground.  This person should be arrested and their license revoked!

Albertville Tornado Hit my Dad’s Express

UPDATE: My Dad ended up rebuilding the wash and told me he reused all the tunnel equipment. So it was not a total loss. He only had to replace the outside equipment that was stolen or destroyed (blew away). Also the low pressure pumping system was supposedly a loss? He replaced it with a Hydroflex. I am not sure what the insurance claim was or the official damage…. but I believe theinsurancenter.com is a good provider if you need insurance. 🙂 This is just what I was told multiple times! I honestly do not care…. and if I hear this story again from my Dad! LOL 🙂

A side note…. Entry units at expresses: I never understood why he never used an entry unit at this location. He actually sold the entry units back to the manufacturer long before the tornado. We would debate this topic every time he complained about customers. LOL 🙂 The manager at the location I believe did not like the entry unit idea for some reason? This also caused major conflict not having an entry system. Nice guy though….

Click here for Before the Tornado and see below for after.  The tornado hit on April 24th.

Mini Blinds!

IMG_3577.JPG

I think that the next trend at carwashes is not going to be dog washes or motorcycle automatic washes….it is going to be mini blind cleaner machines!  For every bay.  Now I just submitted my patent so no one can copy my gold mine idea!

Police Officer Quits Job?

IMG_3629.JPG

It looks like a Police officer might have had enough stress in the area today.  Look a little closer at this garbage… can you see the evidence?  (Good maybe you should be a detective for the Police department since they only have 2.  Just kidding… the Police officers here are unbelievably nice and helpful.)  The officer left a shotgun, handgun, billy club, hand cuffs and a run over vacuum hose……

Ironic?

A bucket washer’s bucket without the bucket washer.

So I was talking to someone the other day and they were asking the definition of “bucket washing”.  I was telling them that self serve carwashes usually frown on the practice and there are signs sold that prove it.  But their rebuttal was that they knew what a “bucket washing” was but then said bucket washers are not people that would bring there own supplies like towels, cleaning products like waxes, polishes, etc.  What?!

Now who would be right on this?  How does the not “bucket washing” sign not include people going to your carwash and not using any of your products?  I actually would not have a problem with this if they used my huge lot  but what about people with small lots?  What about when they use your bay?  (Which they always want to do because you don’t want to apply wax in direct sunlight?)  What about paying customers?  What about your business?  What about your products?  What about people that fix their cars in your bays?  I hate that.  Or what about people who eat and throw their crap all over the place?  I don’t like that either.  And I hate chicken bones.  Why can no one throw away chicken bones!!  This is really my problem not debating “bucket washing”.  cwguy out…….

Garbage Can

Someone tried to help me out by bringing by another garbage can.  That was very nice random person.  Now you can come pick it up and all the crap inside it.

Across the Street

IMG_3575.JPGIMG_3576.JPG

Look what is across the street.  A guy with a pressure washer and a water tank!  I wonder how long he will last?

IMG_3578.JPGIMG_3798.JPG

This was the next day.  This is him filling up his small motor home at the gas station.  I also stole his last “professional business” card at the gas station!  Looks like he takes washing cars seriously!  Corey, has an “all-in-one service” which includes “residential and commercial” “lawncare and mobile detailing”.  I do not understand his name of his “company” though “Rise -N- Shine” unless he as makes breakfast?
