Weep Mizer, bad problem

IMG_2647.JPGIMG_2653.JPGIMG_2672.JPG

My Weep Mizer was having problems, like not working.  I was talking to Randy and he said I should send it in to Dixmor.  I have called them before and they seem very professional and nice.  They actually faxed me something that I asked for!  How many companies do that?  The good news is I have a WEEPER 2.81! (Last picture, actually I have no clue what version is cool.)

Well, the bad news is, the weeper looks a little messed up.  Actually, this is what Greg predicted I did to my weeper.

Coin acceptor problem

IMG_2768.JPG

Broken coin acceptor?  I swapped the coin acceptor out and it still did not work.  Not really sure what the problem could be, it is getting power.  I will try another coin acceptor tomorrow.

Ok, so the meter boxes should not be touched?

I just want to say all the functions worked in the bays before I opened them.  I check them once a week and really never have problems.  I just should not open the doors.

It all started with a coin jam.  Someone really beat the crap out of it and the coin acceptor came unscrewed.  I also replaced my broken in-line fuse.

I then tested the bay and the spot free did not work (purple and black wire).  I did not know where the wire connected so I opened another meter door.  Bad mistake.  Now high pressure does not work on the second bay (second picture).  Also, this red wire snapped off (third picture).

I believe my problem is the wires are corroded and seem very brittle.  Also, the terminals seem rusted.

So I opened the third bay to fix the second bay.  Again bad idea.   You get the picture.

Oh let me count the problems with the bay

I am not blaming anyone, but before someone disconnected the coin acceptor, only the acceptor did not work.

First the little yellow wire from the equipment room was pulled out.  Maybe a ground or something to the timer?  Next picture another little yellow wire to the coin acceptor was pulled out.  The rotary switch had multiple loose wires which I tightened.  Also, one fell off the switch.  Last picture was the little white wire for the spot free rinse.  This wire was broken in two.  But the meter box is so small this could always be a problem.  I need to purchase some cheap meter boxes and throw these away.

The last problem was on a different bay.  The fuse decided to totally break.  I need to replace the fuse holder.

Another attempted break-in

Here are a couple angles from my new Medeco problem.  I am pleased that the lock did not open.  But now I need to open it.  The last picture is what the lock is supposed to look like.

The person also broke into the vacuum.  They just broke one lock and messed up the plastic in front of the lcd.  I was able to bend the door back into shape.

I also need to figure out where to get a lock like this for my Fragramatics vacuum.
