There unit even looks used…. just like mine! :) I was going to use a Fragramatics Shampooer I purchased that came with a pedestal. Their unit looks janky with that brass fitting on the top? But whatever…. that just means my version can’t look the worse! :)

FragraMatics Vacuum Shampooer Brush

IMG_1999.JPGIMG_2018.JPGIMG_2022.JPGIMG_2025.JPG

Nobody is going to be stealing your FragraMatics shampooer brush unless they cut the hose.  I actually think this is a little ridiculous.  You have to take out the screw which you really don’t need (There is no way the hose is going anywhere).  Then I guess you have to remove the outside metal piece (second picture).  Then the hose needs to be unscrewed from the nut that it is mounted in.  Oh and that is not fun!

I Blew a Fuse!

IMG_1777.JPGIMG_1778.JPG

My FragraMatics Vacuum blew a fuse and I had to replace it.  It uses a ABC-10BC3 which is a 10amp 250v fuse.

Have I ever mentioned that the FragraMatics Vacuums are a pain to work on?  6 screws to take off the top and they use security screws?   Jim Coleman’s Vacuums only have 1 and no security screw.  I really do like the security screw, but 6?    At least it could be 4 maybe 3?

The “Kitchen Sink” Vacuum Approach

IMG_1270.JPGIMG_1271.JPG

FragraMatics “Kitchen Sink” vacuum.  This thing has everything!  Dollar bills, credit cards, vacuum, shampooer, fragrance everything!  Could you imagine untangling all this stuff everyday?

I love the way the FragraMatics vacuums looks, I think they look the best by far.  But they are really hard to work on compared to the  Jim Coleman vacuums.  But I could only imagine working on this bad boy.  My guess is everything is under the vacuum top!  :)  (A little FragraMatics humor?)

LAI lock install

IMG_0005.JPG

I ordered a couple LAI locks to check them out and ended up ordering the wrong kind.  I ordered the B622F 600 series high security cam locks that can fit the cylinder locks that I also ordered.  But with the high security locks you can not remove the key when the lock is unlocked,  it has to be in the locked position to remove the key.  This feature is really crappy because the Fragramatics vacuum has 3 locks on the door so I would need 3 keys to open the door, not cool.  So I am going to have to purchase some 500 series cam locks, but the 500 series can turn right and left where the high security can only do one or the other, which is good.  Wow what a pain.
