You would be surprised how many people search my blog for “how to microwave hot dogs”.  So I have been revising my hot dog making craft over the last year and decided to post my new method of cooking / boiling / microwaving hot dogs.

First get 2 glass bowls, one is the size of the hotdogs and the other is just acting as a weight.  Second fill the bowl about 1/3 up with water.  Third insert your hotdogs.

Now insert the small bowl on the hot dogs this will keep the hotdogs under the water to boil the them.  Set the microwave for 4:00 on high and hit start.  Then they should be done.  Also, the bowls will be hot!

Another hotdog eating tip:  When eating crappy hotdogs, try adding lots of Tabasco!

Today I just got a couple bags of garbage, which is always exciting.  I love it when they fill up a garbage can!

I got to clean out one of my pits today!  Fun, Fun, Fun!

I installed some FRP fasteners today.  I was surprised how many I needed to install.  Everything does look better though.

I had another clogged drain today, which is fun.  If you look in the second picture you can see dog food.  Nice!

Where are the stray dogs when you need them?  Actually it was moldy food: dogs might not even eat it.  But the flies loved it!

I always like getting random car parts but this is ridiculous.  I can almost build a new car.

This is getting a little boring with the rain.  Maybe the rain should stop?  Today there seemed to be a lot more wrecks.

I like the raining on and off all day and then sunny for a minute then rain again.  Fun (and good for business)!

This seems to be the way the sky always looks around here in Birmingham, Alabama on the weekends.  I think this month might be the worst ever!

Looked like a full service down the street from where I live had a little fire?  4 Hoover Police suvs, 3 Fire trucks, 1 Fire suv and 1 Ambulance.

I believe it is Regal car wash on Lorna Road.

Today I used my Dad’s auger that I have been storing in my basement (over a year) for the first time.  My Dad has even called to check on his auger to see if it was okay but didn’t want to pick it up.  It did the job and cleaned out the drain!

The Ice guy up the street raised his prices of his Twice the ICE places to $2.00 from $1.75.

Done with all the concrete and the installing of signs, at least for now!
